Great Quality of Life with Great Credit

It was just announced that Gwinnett County earned a AAA credit rating with all three credit agencies!  That may not seem like a really big deal, but it is.  Only 35 counties nationwide hold a AAA credit rating.  That’s a big deal.  The credit agencies cited conservative fiscal management as one of the contributing factors.

Not just in 2010

Actually Gwinnett County has acheived this rating since 1997.  The county has continued each year to achieve the fiscal responsibility to make it easier and cheaper for the County to borrow money to keep things moving and in good repair.  Wouldn’t it be great if we could all say the same for our personal credit.  Gwinnett County is dealing with the same economy as you and I are.  As a resident, I am proud to say the the elected officials and most importantly the staff administrators have accomplished something that many County residents aspire to.  Thank You.

Gwinnett County has seen amazing growth over the years of 1997 to present.  That growth has obviously been managed well.  As the County becomes more diverse, we can be proud to live in a well managed and healthy place.  Yes, there are problems.  Where aren’t there problems?  We are proud to say that we are managing through our problems, not easily, but well.

I am looking forward to many more years of AAA ratings.  It matters.
